ABOUT THE ROLE:
This position is a everlasting full-time position.
As a Manager Government Relations, you will be accountable to supply insight, recommendation and advice to the Senior Manager External Affairs and broader South32 management involving South African National and Provincial Government associated and externally pushed business/reputational issues.
lead and manipulate South32’s engagement with South African National and Provincial Government stakeholders;
represent South32 in senior-level engagement with applicable South African political and public coverage stakeholders;
Protect and enhance South32’s recognition via pro-active, relationship-based engagement with applicable political and authorities stakeholders.
Other key obligations include, however aren’t restricted to:
Undertake and help authorities stakeholder mapping and analysis; support, advance and put in force South African Government stakeholder engagement techniques and plans;
Establish and keep superb relationships with South African senior authorities officers and different businesses of government;

Analyse South African Government public coverage traits and applicable government(s) legislative course and grant strategic insights and guidance to interior stakeholders;

ABOUT YOU:
