Essential: Minimum Requirements Matric/Grade 12 Two years of applicable national or international beauty therapy certification or diploma Technical and practical experience in a professional beauty salon setting for at least 12 months Computer-savvy Good numerical abilities Able to work retail hours and willing to Advantageous: Three years of applicable national or international beauty therapy certification or diploma Three years or more of technical and practical experience working in a professional beauty salon Description of the Job: Give clients a first-rate salon experience. Follow Dis-Chem guidelines when performing massages, facials, waxing, manicures, and pedicures. Report on and respond to consumer questions, grievances, and praise. Stay up to date on new goods, services, and treatments. Maintain inventory levels in accordance with Dis-Chem Salon’s requirements. Make sure all necessary equipment is always in working order and hygienic. Competencies: Essential: Understand the general anatomy, physiology, and contradictions of the skin in order to treat the body and skin. strong written and spoken English proficiency Have positive customer interactions and work well in a team. Be goal-oriented and deadline-driven. Advantageous: Spray tanning, slimming, microdermabrasion, soft laser, and bio-magnetic Bilingual training for any laser or extra salon equipment Particular circumstances
